Paper Bag Stars
I’m pretty sure this is an Art Bar idea, and it’s so good! Paper bags + glue = giant stars ready for so much beautiful color. Some summers I use neon tempera cakes and others I use bright/bold tempera cakes. I mix it up based on the kids I have and the other projects I have lined up. It’s an easy and satisfying burst of color!
I use what ever paper bags I can find at the store. Sometimes the white are out and I go with brown. No biggie!
Painting usually takes about 45 minutes total. Sometimes spread over several days because of the nature of my art camps.
A small hole punch in between one of the star arms is used to thread string or twine for hanging.
