Florence Friday v4
I’ve recently started a new feature to show off some of the amazing treasures that have come from my grandmother's house. A few years ago my mom and her siblings went through, organized, sorted, kept and discarded the accumulation of thirty years. I owe a lot to my mom and grandmothers for my talents. Florence was my last living grandmother and this is just a small way that I can honor her.
First up is this small tin clasp that held 10 feet of an acetate & viscose rayon ribbon manufactured by 3M. It originally cost 10 cents in the 1960s and it had never been used. Clearly, the ribbon had to go but I wanted to hold onto this amazing little piece of history. Made in the U.S.A.
